Afghanistan VS Mongolia

Dushanbe, Central Republican Stadium will be the host of the 2026 FIFA World Cup (AFC) Qualifiers Match Between Afghanistan VS Mongolia ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 12.  Due to the fact that the Afghanistan national team does not have the opportunity to host international matches, The Afghanistan Football Federation has chosen Dushanbe as the place of home matches in the qualifying stage of the 2026 World Cup.  In the first round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the national team of Afghanistan will play against the Mongolian team. The first meeting will be held on October 12 at the Dushanbe Central Stadium and will start at 19:00. The First Afghan in The History of The Polish league( Ekstraklasa)

       Omran Haydary has joined Lechia Gdansk in Ekstraklasa.
Afghan winger Omran Haydary joined Lechia Gdansk on three years deal with option to extend it for 2 years. 

The representative of Afghanistan undergoes tests before signing the contract with white and green.

 He is a representative of Afghanistan, he was born in his homeland, but from the age of two he lived in the Netherlands.  He has Dutch citizenship and he also received football education in this country.  He is a homegrown of Roda JC Kerkrade, and as a senior he performed in FC Emmen and FC Dordrecht.  His achievements in the Dutch II league were 6 goals and 3 assists in 31 appearances.

  In the debut he completed a hat-trick and was also included in the rivals' net in three out of six consecutive matches.

     Overall, in the autumn he scored 12 goals and was the most effective player of the PKO Ekstraklasa back office.  His accomplishments were complemented by two assists.  These are very good statistics, which caught the attention of several top league clubs.  His name was in the context of the transfer to Lech PoznaĹ„, Legia Warszawa, ĹšlÄ…sk WrocĹ‚aw and Zagłębie Lubin.

 Haydary will be the first Afghan in the history of the Polish league.
